I miss Rory.
It’s fine Amy, don’t worry about it. *smiles*
The first time I saw the sky was on my sixteenth birthday, it was fantastic, I don’t know what I imagined it to look like but it seemed so strange and wasn’t what I expected at all!
Oh, I pester you do I? Well then, you know, I could always leave! *winks* Yeah, all of those. It’s quite difficult but I manage. I don’t know how but I just do. Wait, you have a scale? Who’s at the top? *laughs*
I can’t imagine not seeing the sky.. I mean, I know there’s a different timeline of my life that stars didn’t exist, but it all seems just a vague memory now. But not seeing the sky? *frowns a bit*
That’s hard to swallow.
*chuckles* Oh, Jett, you’re always welcome to leave. After all, you’re not paying us any rent or anything. *chuckles again*
Of course I have a scale. Doesn’t anyone? *rolls eyes dramatically*
Who’s on top? Well, that’s hard, because it’s quite a long list. But I can assure you that Rory and The Doctor are in there. You can also throw in Van Gogh and you and Ashtyn in there too.
Why does today feel so strange?
I like to remind people of things. Old people have a tendency to forget certain things. *winks*
I don’t think that it was really important. Just your typical safety announcements. You know, “Don’t wander off.” “Don’t bite the doctors.” “The guards have permission to tazer you.” The usual. *laughs* But I’m not there any more so I can bite as many doctors as I want. *Chuckles*
Old? Oi! *punches him lightly at his shoulder* I’m not that old!
Seriously? “Don’t bite your doctors.”? What are you? Some kind of cannibal subrace of humans?
*makes a face* Don’t tell me you’ve bitten doctors now.. And speaking of biting doctors, how about The Doctor? You’ve ever bitten him before? *wags eyebrows at him*
Road Trip || Martha & Amy
Martha closed her eyes. “I could’ve traveled with the Doctor again, you know? He even asked me about it,but I turned him down. Mickey and I had just married. And earlier the Doctor agreed that it was good that I was in UNIT. I told him it was good that I was inside, we both knew UNIT’s history wasn’t the best, but look where we are now. I have to fix this for him. I promised. Maybe I should go back to UNIT, it might help.”
“Yeah, it’d be nice to travel with the Doctor… But the more I got to travel, the more I missed my life on Earth. I mean, yeah, travelling with the Doctor was exciting — really, really exciting… but I did miss just waking up in the morning in bed, making my own breakfast, going to work, going about to normal life…” Amy sighed deeply.
“Most of the times I’m really conflicted with it you know.. I mean, between choosing a life of travelling with the Doctor, and a life of not travelling with the Doctor but knowing he’s somewhere out there in time and space.”
Amy listened to Martha talk about going back to UNIT. SHe couldn’t help letting out a grin. “Yeah, I like that idea. Going back to UNIT, and then maybe you’ll be acting like a double agent or something — helping the Doctor, while at the same time working for UNIT.” She chuckled.
Hey guys.. Sorry if I’ve been out a few days.. We went island hopping and diving, and unfortunately, there wasn’t any connection to internet out in the open sea where we were. LOL
Also, elections was yesterday, and we were quite busy too. So, I might be able to reply today, maybe after classes, or on breaks.
I’m also hoping for the rest of the people to be crawling back here. LOL
Meet Me at the Corner || Canton + Amy
It had been a normal day — well, as normal as a day can go for one involved in the investigation of peculiar incidents. Ever since leaving the FBI, since travelling with The Doctor and bringing down The Silence, things had been very normal. Freelancing wasn’t as interesting as he’d hoped it would be when he started it up. He figured unusual incidents, maybe more aliens that might lead him back to the strange man who had changed his life entirely. Unfortunately for him, he ended up working with murder cases that couldn’t quite be explained. It was no wonder he was so bored.
Around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, he was sitting outside a restaurant reviewing the photographs of a particularly gruesome murder. He was well known in the area, and was called before word of this could get out. He’d looked over statements, interviewed people for alibis, and remained empty handed.
Amy was humming to herself , minding her own business as she was walking down the street when she had the strangest feeling that she wasn’t where she was supposed to be.
She remembered walking ‘round the corner near the church, but now, looking around, she noticed that she isn’t familiar with the street. In fact, she’d never been in this street before. Strange, considering that Leadsworth was just a small town, and she’d been practically everywhere around it.
She felt a chill run down her arms. There was a nagging feeling inside her that kept telling her that she wasn’t in Leadsworth anymore.
She looked around and saw a restaurant with people in it. It also had several people sitting in chairs by tables just outside. She knew that the only way to find out exactly where she was was to ask someone.
Amy walked towards the restaurant, cautiously approaching a waitress, when she noticed a familiar figure sitting all by himself by a table, looking over several papers. Amy blinked, clearly flustered at seeing him. But there he was, reading a piece of paper. He looked relatively the same as the last time she saw him…back in the 60’s.
“Okay…this is getting really, really strange,” she mumbled to herself.
Mustering up courage and putting on a smile, she approached the man and said out loud, “Canton? Canton Everett Delaware III? Is that really you?”
And she put her arms on her hips and let out a cocky grin.
Why does today feel so strange?
I never said you were Mrs. Pond! I was merely pointing out how bad your memory is! *laughs*
Yes! You have said bother quite a bit! But it’s fine, I learned to tolerate repeating stuff when I was in the facility, the first and last words I ever heard when I was woken up or put back to sleep were always the same. They had this sort of announcement system that repeated itself every hour or so, and I was only ever awake for two to three hours. *smiles*
Of course he can take care of himself, he’s your husband isn’t he? I mean, nothing is worse than Amy Pond when she’s in a bad mood! *Chuckles*
*sticks tongue out at him playfully*
Well, you don’t have to remind me that I’m getting older by the minute.
If you have been listening to the same thing again and again for years, then what is it then? I mean, what’s so important about it that they have to repeat it every hour or so? A friendly reminder for all of you to stay put? *chuckles*
Road Trip || Martha & Amy
“It wasn’t just a wrist watch. It was a pocket watch engraved with Gallifreyan.” Martha sighs listening to the items Amy lists off. None of them seemed very personal. Or something that he’d keep close. “The Doctor’s plans always go wrong. I just want him back to normal.” Martha sat there watching one of the monitors in attempt to calm herself down. “I always dreamed he’d come back. I thought I could go on adventures with him again. I know it’s far fetched, but now he’s back. And he’s not even himself.”
Amy chuckled. “Well, most of the times his plans do seem to backfire.. but I guess there are times he’s right, although not in the way we’d expect it to be.”
She crossed her arms in front of her as she watched Martha vaguely watching the monitor in front of her. “Waiting’s always the part I hated the most. You know, wondering if he’ll ever come back… That part I really don’t like at all.”
She sighed. “He’ll be back to himself, I just know it.. But if not any sooner, I guess we’d have to really urge AShtyn to turn him back now before anything really bad happens.”
Why does today feel so strange?
Oh typical, the first time I ask you to recall something you immediately forget about it! I believe you are leading me on Mrs Pond! *Winks*
Of course it doesn’t bother me! It’s just a bit confusing sometimes, I can’t tell whether you’re being sarcastic or not sometimes.
*puts a hand on her shoulder but it quickly turns into a comforting hug* Oh Amy! I’m sure that he’s just working hard, nothing more or less. If you ever get really concerned, you could always get me to talk to him, I wouldn’t let on that you had asked me to, I’d just act as though I was curious as to why he isn’t around as often. *pulls out of the hug and smiles* Trust me, I’m sure he’s fine!
*gasps dramatically* Mr. Aaronson! Whatever are you implying at? I am not letting you on! *tries to smother giggling*
*laughs* Well, that’s great that it doesn’t bother you… Sometimes, it bothers other people, but I don’t let that bother me… *pauses* I’ve said “bother” a lot of times, right? *giggles*
*hugs Jett back* Well, you can do that… Oh, I’m sure he can take care of himself…but it just worries me at times, you know..I don’t want to lose him, that’s all… *sighs*
Do I…Do I know you?
We can add more as we go along.
Ooh.. Sounds like a nice idea.
Should we include the Doctor in this?
I miss Rory.
I don’t go to the coffee shop for coffee! I go for my money! Didn’t you wonder how I was paying off my student loan? *laughs* C’mon Amy, keep up!
I can tell! *pushes her a tiny bit harder* Well everyone loves the swing, it’s one of my favourite memories, that and the sixteen years I spent in cryogenic containment *chuckles weakly*
There would certainly be a lot less jobs! *laughs loudly, stopping pushing Amy and sitting cross legged on the grass infront of her*
I’m taking Psychology, Media Studies, Social Studies, Photography and Art.
Ugh… Stupid brain! *whacks head lightly with palm of hand*
Well, sorry about that Jett. I guess I’ve been thinking about a lot of things lately.
Back when I was a little girl, there was a swing outside our house. I used to sit there and watch the sky, waiting for the Doctor. *sighs then smiles at Jett*
Well, at least you’re out of that horrible place now Jett. I don’t think I can imagine my days without your constant pestering. *chuckles*
*crosses her arms as she watched Jett sit down on the grass in front of her* All of those? That’s a lot, Jett.. And yet you manage to take them all. I have to admit Jett. You just went up in my “people-to-look-up” scale. *laughs*
